Hi Everyone,

Thanks for taking a moment to look at this thread. My name is Mark, and I am Editor-In-Chief of Gamersledge.com, a 17-year old gaming and media news and entertainment site. (Check out the wayback machine for some of our early stuff)

Over the years, we've picked up some passionate content creators, reporters, reviewers and editorialists who work on content for video games, table top and role-playing games, movies and television. We attend comic conventions and video gaming conventions across the country, and we have decided to try and step up both our production quality and introduce new content for our readers and watchers.

And that has nothing to do with Patreon other than 'why.' We will always provide our content free of charge, but for our supporters, we will engage with them, give them access to content early and even create content with them.

We launched this week, and our numbers on our website and social media are ok, but we realize this is a long-tail strategy, not a get rich quick scheme. I would LOVE any feedback on our goals and milestones; different things we should be doing and what has worked to draw traffic not to Patreon, per se, but to your content. The way we see it, once we get better at that, the rest will fall into place.

If you know of someone that is passionate about anything nerdcore or geektastic, just sharing our content with them would be a humbling experience, and we appreciate it.

Lastly, I'd love at least minimal feedback if you even like our content (or just admire the production values in any way); so I will put up a quick poll for just that purpose.

Thanks for your time and consideration.
