I thought this was a rather innovative, and also helpful project for education:

Perfect Earth Game

Perfect Earth is a new green-themed online & mobile social game targeted at boys and girls in the ages 8-12. It teaches the players about the impact of their actions on the environment and about the benefits of adopting a sustainable life-style.

Our mission is to make available fun and engaging concepts of play to create awareness for environmental issues amongst a maximum amount of children, because we believe we can make a major positive impact in tomorrow's natural environment by educating youth on the importance of natural resources and sustainable living.

Perfect Earth is a ‘social game meets virtual world’ type of environment and has a so-called freemium business model, allowing all children to play for free, however providing a premium game membership against payment.

Perfect Earth chooses to provide engaging entertainment with embedded ‘green’ messages, rather than pure education. We feel the players will be more open to the embedded messages if they are represented by organic elements in the game play, rather than forced upon them as rules and requirements.

Eventually Perfect Earth is to become a 360-degree brand. The online game is just the beginning. We see potential for brand & line extensions, such as merchandising, an animated TV series, a print magazine, a board game, mobile applications, etc.

Great idea, shows that actions have consequences. Nice to see a game that's constructive, rather than about annihilating one another.

I see it's already fully subscribed.

Creative, well-thought-out concept! Perfect Earth sounds like a neat idea. We too believe in games that help children learn the impact of their actions.

That is part of the premise of our game, also. It's an online game called A Better World For Kids. We'd appreciate it if you could check it out: http://bit.ly/ABWfKKS

Fist of all congrats to reaching your goal on symbid. I like the concept of this game, and to make a game out of education on children to take care for our planet.
I also think that a freemium model will work here.
What are your next steps after successfull funding?

Hope we will get there as well:

That's a very good point and I did not have this in the business plan but it is going in there now as we can return the tyres back to the wholesaler so we could easily just charge the customer for the repair part instead.

Interestingly most tyre companies encourage the staff to go down the route of replacement instead of repair and often advice tyres can not be repaired when they can ! (higher profit !)
