Turn Your Phone into Your ConsoleHave you ever played a great retro game on your iPhone, only to be frustrated with the touch controls? Or have you wanted to play an awesome iPad game with a friend, but two people holding one tablet just doesnít feel right? With the GameDock for iOS you can play classic games the way they were meant to be played: with two controllers and a TV. Just plug the dock into your TV like a video game console and your iOS device into the dock like a game cartridge. The GameDock is designed to be compatible with existing iCade games and for dock-ready games that include two-player support and full 1080p HDTV output.

Support this project and help build the indie games ecosystem that is responsible for some of the most innovative and fun games of all time. Donated money will be used to fund production and give you the chance to be the first to receive a GameDock of your own. Supporting the little guy and having fun at the same time -- whatís cooler than that?
Retro games will always have a special place in our hearts. For millennials and generation X-ers, these games remind us of our childhoods spent button-mashing and delighting in beautiful, pixelated worlds. Itís time to do justice to the modern pixelated game renaissance with an iPhone accessory that brings an extra layer of authenticity to the experience.

In addition to the dock, we have developed a dashboard app that allows you to select and play games from the comfort of your couch. Thereís no need to get up and change which game youíre playing. You can do it with your controller instead. And, of course, if you don't have a TV, no worries! The dock still connects to your phone and supports games on the small screen. It communicates over short-range bluetooth, the same used in most modern keyboards.

This in my opinion is very similar to the Ouya idea, however this simply uses the cpu of the iphone instead of creating an entire Android based cpu. Great idea!
