View Full Version : Stretch Goals on Kickstarter?

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum but I wanted to ask advice on stretch goals.

My Kickstarter project (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/flyingcheesetoastie/bring-on-the-bears) finishes on Monday and I've reached my funding goal already, which is great. I'm wondering whether to add Stretch Goals for the final few days or not and whether this is expected or what backers are waiting for before they pledge?

Any input would be most welcome as I don't want to disrespect my backers or loose out on new ones.

I don't really see harm in doing so as long as the goals are doable from your end. I have seen instances where stretch goals have put projects well and above their initial goals, but also instances where project creators went overboard, and couldn't handle the extra work associated with the goals.
