Hi Friends!

Who loves ice cream? We do! And we hope you to, too. We're trying to open Lottie's Creamery (http://www.lottiescreamery.com/), a very special artisan ice cream shop, in Walnut Creek, California.

This shop has been the dream of Deb Phillips (http://www.lottiescreamery.com/#d12/custom_plain), our chef/owner, for many years, and after a lot of hard work, months crafting a business plan, scouting retail space, working with architects and builders to renovate a former Thai restaurant and working in our test kitchen perfecting the flavors, we are close to making our dream a reality! But we need your help.

Our Kickstarter Campaign (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/debphillips/lotties-creamery-artisan-ice-cream-made-from-scrat) ends on September 18th and our goal is $18,000. We are new to the crowdfunding world and are excited to be part of this new trend. Please check out the Lottie's Creamery Project Page on Kickstarter (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/debphillips/lotties-creamery-artisan-ice-cream-made-from-scrat) and share with anyone else who believes that everyone should be able to make a living doing what they love.

But wait, what makes Lottie's SO unique? Many ice cream shops purchase a pre-made ice cream base. At Lottie's Creamery, we're aiming to be the only microcreamery in the San Francisco Bay Area that is pasteurizing its own ingredients on site for maximum control over texture, and delicious flavor consistency!

We'd love to hear about your projects, too. You can also find us on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LottiesCreamery) and Twitter (https://twitter.com/LottiesCreamery). Thank you!
