Our team has been discussing how often updates should be posted, potential changes should be added, and what type of updates to add.

Anyone out there have thoughts on this?

You don't want to annoy people by posting too much but by posting updates you are showing that something has happened and you may spur your current backers to come back and then possibly send to their contact lists. As to how much? That depends on many variables but if you need something to push your project, an update cannot hurt.

Indiegogo suggests every one to five days.

We have also been uncertain with how often updates should be made.
Starting to think that once a day might not be a bad idea.
We will pursue this course and let you know how it works out.

We've been told that on KS, backers like to be updated every 2-3 days - This is from people we know that have run successful campaigns.

We are going with 2-3 days for our current KS campaign we just launched. We have pre-prepared about 9 updates and are leaving the rest open to see what backers want to hear about.

Cheers :-)
