    Explains a lot.... sigh so what your saying is that it's going to take a crowdfunding campaign launched after I've finished the kickstarter awareness... and to take my time (4-6 months more of what im doing now) then take a run at it again?

Always think about people’s intentions when searching for things that may lead to your page and avoid vague or random titles that would make your pages harder for people to find.

    With new updates to algorithms used by search engines (like Google’s Hummingbird), it’s important to focus more on specific branded content, as opposed to general anonymous content. Basically, Google’s algorithm takes context into account – including your social media presence, expertise, and uniqueness of your content – when ranking pages.

    Featuring keywords in your content that someone looking for that kind of content would use is important; just remember not to focus on forming your content around keywords in a way that seems awkward or unnatural.

    Looking at the competition and where their links are featured can help you find sites to aim to have your links featured on, because the more good links to your site the easier it will be to find on search engines.

    Social media is also a tool that is important for SEO because having profiles on many popular social media sites will give fans access to your content and make it easy for them to share.

    Finally, mobile optimization is becoming more and more key since many people use their smartphones to look things up online, a fact that search engines also take into consideration.


    SEO is a tool that may seem like a lot of work, but that definitely pays in the long run by making it easy for people to find your startup, project, or product during as well as after your campaign.

    We already have an existing web presence with decent SEO (I'm planning a crowdfunding campaign to expand an existing, successful business). Does it look tacky to have a landing page on our existing business site? Is there a way to incorporate an email gathering campaign into our existing, ranked page that isn't tacky?

    Thanks for the wonderful information. I have small business online and I also use seo services from the seo company Los Angeles for my website. The traffic has surely increased after I started with them and the business is picking up pace slowly.
