    Interesting comments here.

I see many here who say do the crowdfunding marketing yourself?!? Unless you are qualified to do so then my advice is DON'T.

There is a reason why people specialize in Marketing and Digital marketing. They have served their time to learn their trade and many have spent 10's of thousands of dollars of ad budgets gaining experience.

Others think they can suddenly become effective Facebook advertisers without gaining the experience. That's no different to thinking you can be a great car mechanic without any experience or training. Would you do that yourself? I doubt it.

Want to know why Facebook love new inexperienced marketers/advertisers? Because they make the most profits from these people who experiment, not knowing what they are doing.

A free tip regarding Facebook advertising straight from the horses mouth - you know those things that say "recommended" while you are creating an ad on Facebook? Well ignore them.

Yourself! Nothing is more convincing or genuine than getting an email or phone from you directly telling me about your project.

I doubt that all of the crowdfunding marketing agencies are bad. More likely is that some of the bad reviews are false - or written by people who had no business hiring a marketing agency in the first place.

I'm right now on my KS campaign and I hired Krowdster to do my press release, backer, database, and Twitter.
This is my first KS and next time I will do it differently, more prep. I have also used FB add = no backers.
Krowdster did a good press release for me I must say.

I don't have any financial stake in the company, World knowledge but I know the people behind the company and they are very honest and very good at what they do.

    You should check them out.

I never believed in these backer databases like the ones Krowdster offers. It doesn't make any sense. If somebody backed a campaign for a drinks blender is there any reason to believe they'd be interested in a new Android case or bed sheets or whatever?

Anything that helps, you have to put maximum effort in your campaing and i think that some people just like to support good ideas, in this case a database with a lot of backers is very useful.
