Even after political, economic unrest in Pakistan, there is still something so good about this country that it stands adamant. We may be considered a third world country today but the undying hope and faith of people is what actually pushing it to do better. We may be poor but there are still a lot of people who don’t turn their backs from their responsibilities as Pakistanis and donate generously in social causes to erase this blot of poverty.
Thankfully today, a donation has much more meaning than simply giving away the cash. It has become a trend to use internet for donors to donate online and the organizations to raise money on the internet as well. One of a fine example of it is of Seed Out. It has become world’s first Islamic crowd funding organization with 0% interest rate and 100% transparency. Donors are able to raise micro entrepreneurs by funding different projects in Pakistan by a simple act of donating. This ultimately fights poverty and changes the lives of people in the most drastic of ways.
Infinite number of people now has the facility of donating online which in return help a lot of non-profit organizations to have online fund raising. This makes it possible to raise money for different projects and as a final result; micro entrepreneurs in the society are raised and poverty is being demolished.
It’s about time that crowd funding came to Pakistan. Since crowd funding campaigns has made it possible for crowd funding organizations like Seed Out to address people around the globe and not just in Pakistan in a very insightful manner. This has helped in saving a lot of lives and bringing out a positive change in the society from places where one couldn’t even imagine reaching to few years back. A contribution may be small but it might be the first kick for the concerned person to progress in the society. It might be their only chance to become something other than poor. Take matters in their own hands and remove the stigma of being unprivileged. Now imagine, a contribution of as less as 500 R.S has done this. This is the beauty of crowd funding that a pool of individuals who are making small contributions which are leading to such an impactful outcome. This has helped to empower the unprivileged in such ways that they have become merely independent from being completely dependent.
