Kickstarter and Indiegogo Backers List with Emails

I was wondering if other users compile backer lists with the email addresses of backers from previous crowdfunding projects. My own organisation has been very successful in using a backer list (we have 200,000+ entries now). Are others maintaining similar lists? How to you use this data?
