I just launched my new campaign on Kickstarter and I could sure use some tips. Everyone seems to love my project however I cannot afford to spend thousands of dollars on adds. I figured maybe the crowdfunding comunity can help me get some awareness. If anyone loves to cook or would like to cook more this project is for them.

I think i read every post/blog/article on the internet before I launched my Indiegogo so thought I was prepared. However, 10 days in and I have learnt a lot already. I spent 2 months and lots of money on FB ads building an email list and even taking deposits, so thought I would have a good crowd to start with. What I didn't consider was that people don't read all your emails. I am sitting on deposits that if converted would give me a real boost but cannot convert these and the open rate on my mailchimp campaigns is barely 15%. So I have spent a lot of money building a list but cannot reach people on it. I have resorted to SMS and FB messenger to try to reach people who paid me money only a few weeks ago.
