What influences investors on crowdfunding platforms?

Hi guys! I'm a masters student studying at Cass Business School and I'm currently working on a research paper about what influences investors on crowdfunding platforms. It would be really helpful if you could take this short survey (especially if you're a crowdfunder). It will only take a few minutes. I would be more than happy to share my results with you. Thank you! (:

I meant backers, but they are essentially the investors for the campaign right?

    Getting the actual product

Early access (beta invites, priority shipping etc)

Exclusivity (do a Kickstarter-only limited edition version with extra features, different colour etc)

Real-world interaction (Invite to launch party, meet the founders etc)

Some of the reasons people donate to crowdfunding campaigns:

    - To be part of an 'investment group'
    - The perks or rewards.
    - The thrill of making a selection
    - Betting that the project will go
    - Pride of 'ownership'
    - To be associated with a winner
    - The desire to be part of the project
    - Caught up in the video & presentation
    - Feeling of being an early 'adoptor'
    - Intrigued by "empowerment,"
    - Watching the funding total increase thus validating their choice
    - Involvement in the product's development and evolution
    - Feeling of importance receiving progress 'updates'
    - Proof of support for social enterprise and innovation
    - Proof of status - being declared an Angel, Sponsor, Guardian, Benefactor, Patron etc.
