(Canada Helps) Walking to Fight Juvenile Arthritis!

    Hi all!

It has been just over a year since I've received ACL reconstruction and lateral meniscectomy in my left knee. Having to reduce my engagement in physical activity to delay the effects of osteoarthritis has been detrimental to my mental health. However, I will be walking in this year's Vancouver Sun Run and Scotiabank Half-Marathon to fundraise for Cassie + Friends, a local non-profit that endeavours to enrich the lives of children and their families who suffer from Juvenile Arthritis and other rheumatic diseases.

Hoping you can take some time out of your day to give my page a read:

The fundraiser closes on 25 June 2018. Thank you so much!

Even if you can't donate, it would be amazing if you could help share my fundraiser with family/friends!

Will share this. How are you finding the Canada Helps platform?

Thank you! It's easy to navigate around and the benefit over other crowdfunding sites like gofundme is that they don't have payment processing deductions. Anyone who donates also receives tax receipts! But you'll definitely have to rely on yourself to share your fundraiser on social media for it to gain traction.
